Purchased this porcelain coated non-stick cookware amid reports that other types of non-stick cookware might release carcinogens when overheated. This set is outstanding for the price. Each piece is designed to heat evenly and the porcelain coating is smooth and impossibly easy to clean. The lids included are sturdy and the whole set is asthetically pleasing in its gloss black finish. The plastic cookware included is pretty basic and unimpressive, but that's not the reason anyone would buy this set in the first place. I'd recommend this set to any home chef. Very happy with my purchase.

Crafted with durable porcelain exteriors, this cookware set from WearEver is designed to remain scratch- and chip-free. The 14-piece set includes a 10-inch skillet, 12-inch deep covered skillet, 1- and 2-1/2-quart sauce pans with lids, a 5-quart Dutch oven with lid, and 5 nylon cooking utensils. Each piece has a nonstick interior safe to use with metal utensils. Cookware that is "safe for use with metal utensils" is safe with most metal utensils, such as forks, spoons and spatulas. Do not cut or use rotary beaters in the cookware. Extremely sharp utensils, such as knives, may scratch the nonstick surface. The pieces feature stay-cool handles riveted on for durability, as well as glass lids to seal in nutrients and to easily view food while cooking.
