This company serves up a solid line of saucepans that have found their way into the kitchens of master chefs such as Julia Child, Renee Behnke and the like. It's the right weight, the right durability and THE RIGHT PRICE to do much of the every day cooking tasks done in most kitchens. While not much to look at, this saucepan is fully qualified to get the heavy jobs done. I say take the money you save on this great little saucepan and use it to buy some fabulous knives.
